You'll be taken to the institution selection dialog. Scroll to the bottom and click on "US Higher Education (InCommon)":
Which will take you to the AUS login prompt. Sign in with your campus username and password:
ASCE will return to the home screen, and in the upper left hand corner you should see "Access provided by American University of Sharjah". 
You can now use ASCE from off-campus.
