American University of Sharjah provides access to many resources in electronic format. These resources can be accessed from off-campus via EZproxy links or via Shibboleth.
EZproxy links can be found in WorldCat, A-Z Databases via the Library website. Therefore we recommend you start your search on these sites. When you locate your resource and click on a EZproxy link, you will be directed through to the University's proxy server, known as EZproxy. You will be prompted for your American University of Sharjah username and password to gain access. More details and how to identify EZproxy links can be found within this guide.
Alternatively logging in via Shibboleth is useful when attempting to access resources using a direct link e.g sciencedirect.com. Resource providers use different terminology but the login process may involve all or some of the following steps:
