What is InterLibrary (ILL) Loan and Document Delivery (DD) Services?
These are services provided by the AUS Library to obtain books, articles and other types of materials which are not available in the library, and which are needed for research.
What is the difference between ILL and DD?
InterLibrary Loan (ILL) is when the library borrows books from other libraries locally or internationally. Document Delivery (DD) is when the library obtains electronic copies, in compliance with copyright rules, of journal articles and book chapters which are not available through the AUS Library electronic resources.
Who can use these services?
ILL and DD services are available, for no charge, to AUS faculty, staff and currently enrolled AUS graduate students, and undergraduate students (with permission from their professors). For more information about how to place ILL requests, please visit this link: https://library.aus.edu/ill
Where should I return my Interlibrary Loan item?
Books borrowed through ILL service should be returned to the Library Service Desk, located in the library ground floor, by their due dates.
