RefWorks Guide

To import references from EndNote to RefWorks, use the following instructions.

1. Login to your EndNote library
2. Select Format > Export
3. From the drop down menu, select All references in my library or individual folder
4. Select Export Output Style as exportlist.txt
5. Click on Save
6. Go into RefWorks and from the +Add menu, select Import References > Import Options
7. Select folder to assign references to
8. Click on import at the bottom of the import window.
9. Your records should automatically appear in the last imported folder.

Note:

• This is a bulk import.  Your existing EndNote folder structure will not be maintained.
• This will not import the groups or file attachments that you have set up in EndNote.
