What is Generative AI?

Generative AI (GAI) refers to artificial intelligence systems that can create content - such as text, images, audio, or video - in response to prompts from users. These systems are trained on massive datasets and use patterns from that training to produce new outputs.

At the core of many GAI tools are Large Language Models (LLMs). LLMs are trained on extensive text collections and can generate conversational human-like responses to questions or instructions. They support a wide range of tasks, including writing, summarizing, translating, and more through natural language interaction.

How does Generative AI work?

Trust People First

While AI can be useful, it should never replace the care and guidance of real people. For concerns about your health, mental well-being, relationships, faith, finances, or major life decisions, always turn to trusted family, friends, mentors, counselors, or professionals. AI can't understand your full context or offer the empathy, expertise, and support that people can.
