(Last name of author transliterated, year of publication)
Example: (Barādah, 1987)
b) Reference list citation:
Last Name of author transliterated, Author’s first initial. (Year of publication). Arabic title transliterated and italicized
[English translation of the title]. Place of publication: Name of Publisher.
Example: Barādah, M. (1987). Luʻbat al-nisyān [The game of forgetting]. Al-Ribāṭ: Dār al-Amān

2. Citing an Arabic book in Arabic papers or scholarly work using APA Style:
a) In text citation:
(Last name of author in Arabic, year of publication)
Example: (برادة، 1987)
b) Reference list citation:
Last Name of author in Arabic, Author’s name in Arabic. (Year of publication). Arabic title italicized. City of Publication, Country of Publication: Name of Publisher.
Example: برادة، محمد. (1987). لعبة النسيان. الرباط، المغرب: دار الأمان
