Information Literacy

What is Information Literacy?

AUS defines information literacy as:

"...the ability to recognize when information is needed, and then to locate, evaluate, and use this information effectively, both in students' university careers and beyond."

Faculty Resources: WRI001 & WRI101

The following library-developed resources are recommended for course use.

WRI 001 & WRI 101

Library Orientation:
The AUS Library now provides an audio tour which students can take using their mobile phone and QR code technology.  Have students print the library map, take the tour, then complete the library quiz through iLearn.

Library Audio Tour Quiz through ilearn (please contact Rhonda Stricklett at rstricklett@aus.edu to have enrollment set up for your section/s).

For more information on the audio tour and resources on finding and locating Books in the AUS Library see the links below.
