The Statistics Center undertakes statistical activities, carrying out the general census of population, and the count of housing and establishments. The Statistics Centre conducts economic and social statistical surveys and publishes statistical books and bulletins, for the Emirate of Dubai as a whole.

The Statistical Centre for the Cooperation Council for the Arab Countries of the Gulf (GCC-Stat) provides a common official pool of statistics and data for the member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC): United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar and Kuwait.

The United Nations Statistics Division compiles and disseminates global statistical information, develops standards and norms for statistical activities, and support countries' efforts to strengthen their national statistical systems. Their statistics covers a wide range of themes including agriculture, crime, communication, development assistance, education, energy, environment, finance, gender, health, labour market, manufacturing, national accounts, population and migration, science and technology, tourism, transport and trade.

The UNESCO Institute for Statistics (UIS) is the official and trusted source of internationally-comparable data on education, science, culture, technology, communication and the Sustainable Development Goals.

The FCSA is one of the official government sources for national statistics and is one of the government representatives on matters related to national competitiveness.

Human Rights Watch is a leading independent organization dedicated to defending and protecting human rights. Publishes the annual Human Rights Watch Annual Reports, as well as reports on specific regions, topics and human rights issues.
