Data Management Plans for Research

Guides you through the process of data management planning. An AUS template has been created to facilitate this process. Simply sign in with your AUS credentials.

There are a number of templates within the tool that represent the requirements of different funders and institutions. Users are asked three questions at the outset so we can determine the appropriate template to display (e.g. the ESRC template when applying for an ESRC grant). Guidance is provided to help you interpret and answer the questions. This guidance is provided by researcher funders, universities and disciplines.

The VADS4R project will provide a research data management (RDM) training programme tailored to the needs of early careers researchers and postgraduate students in the visual arts.

RADAR is the Glasgow School of Art's research repository, providing a digital archive of research and enterprise output produced by Glasgow School of Art staff and postgraduate students. RADAR (which stands for Repository of Art Design Architecture Research) makes information publically available about a wide range of research outputs, from books and journal articles to exhibitions and artifacts. Full text is available where possible, and some additional content is available on request.

This case study focuses on data management planning in the Arts and Humanities. Approaches to solving common issues are examined through the experiences of a group of Open University researchers.
